Ivory Mandel VG89 family was the result from the purchase of
embryos from Jim Morrison’s Inch herd of pedigree Holsteins,
Downpatrick.
Christopher stated “my aim is to select, breed
and develop great Holstein families for the future improvement
of Slieveroe Holsteins. Special individuals like Roumare Ivory
are definitely a great foundation!
Skyhigh Ivory Mandel VG89 is the 10th generation of
EX or VG cows and is from the same family as Robthom Integrity
EX96. She has three Excellent and 10 Very Good daughters with
her first EX91 daughter achieving 14,999kgs at 4.25% butterfat
and 3.26% protein.
“Roumare is a fantastic sire and very suited for
UK herds, not only can he transmit high production with high
fat and protein but also cattle with great legs and feet
and udders. We have complete confidence in the bull and
have flushed our top cows to this international sire of sons” said
Jim Morrison, Inch Genetics.
