Claas Lexion Combine makes £96,000 at Farm Sale
A sale of farm vehicles and machinery held at Simprim Farm, Coldstream in the Scottish Borders, attracted buyers from all four corners of the UK.
The sale was conducted by the UK’s largest livestock auctioneering company, Harrison and Hetherington, in conjunction with Rural Chartered Surveyors Vickers and Barras, on behalf of RG Russell and Co. Ltd.
All lots offered for sale saw keen bidding from buyers which ensured a buoyant trade throughout the sale. Topping the sale was a 2012 Claas Lexion 630 Combine Harvester which sold for £96,000. Other leading items included; a Cat 75C Challenger Tracked Tractor and a 2005 Case 1155CVX Tractor which both sold for £15,000; a John Deere 6910 Tractor selling at £14,200 and a 2004 Cat TH 3300 Forklift for £13,300.
Also on offer was an excellent selection of well-maintained implements which proved to be in high demand. Included was a Vaderstad Rapid A400 Drill Unit selling at £13,000, Kuhn 5 FR Plough £11,500, Welger RP520 Baler selling at £7,600, Vaderstad 500 Carrier at £7,200, Simba 3.3m Cultipress at £6,300, Vaderstad Rollers at £1,800 and a KRM Packer Roller at £1,800.
