Red meat is tender but the market place for meat is as tough as old boots. How do you ensure your business is a winner?
The 2005 Red Meat Industry Forum (RMIF) conference on November 2 will reveal how red meat businesses, from farm to fork, have already increased their strength and stamina, not to mention their profits.
RMIF Manager, Martin Grantley-Smith said: "This conference is not to be missed. If applied nationally RMIF programme's successes so far would translate to cost benefits of between £500 and £800 million a year for the industry. Conference delegates will find out how they to can tap into this figure."
The last RMIF conference in 2003 attracted 500 forward-thinking delegates from across the industry to hear how their peers had used business improvement methods to work towards a profitable future.

About the RMIF
"The RMIF is determined to help the British red meat industry recapture - and maintain - a leading position in the market place.
The RMIF believes that the spotlight must fall on red meat businesses in their entirety, not just on individual producers, in order to enable whole supply chains to achieve world-class status - and to provide an outstanding example of efficiency and quality with continuous business improvement.
Crucial to achieving these industry-wide benefits is the inclusion of the entire supply chain."
