A high compression density, perfect bale shape and maximum output – the
characteristics of Claas Quadrant presses for many years. A bale
size of 120 x 70 is today’s standard in professional straw
harvesting.
Primary bailing chamber system with ease of operation
The
new QUADRANT 3200 has an innovative primary baling chamber system,
generating better results especially with smaller swaths. The primary
chamber is hydraulically controlled with a range of settings from
level 0 to 4 using COMMUNICATOR from the tractor cab. At 0 the
primary chamber is completely switched off. This easy to use in-cab
control is time-efficient and increases efficiency of the machine.
The packer is also of a new design, and uses eleven tines to reliably
convey even small forage.
More output
The speed of the QUADRANT 3200 rotor
is about 25% faster than its predecessor, resulting in up to 10%
more press performance. For hay and straw applications, the new
QUADRANT 3200 offers the highest performance in its class.
The main transmission has been reinforced so that 20% more torque
is achieved. Using the QUADRANT 3200 leads to an increase of 10
to 20% in bale density in small swaths, which makes the baler ideal
for baling silage as the very high density ensures the quality
forage required by today’s modern dairy industry.
Highly reliable
The QUADRANT 3200 is characterised
by its robustness. The main frame is reinforced and the main transmission
is flanged, similar to the QUADRANT 3400. The piston bearing is
up to the standard of the QUADRANT 3400, plus the blade springs
and frame are reinforced.
