Saucy Calendar to Raise Money for Farm Charity
08/01/09

AI company Dairy Daughters has produced a year planner for 2009, the proceeds from which will be donated to the charity Farm Crisis Network.

The company has gained a reputation for its slightly saucy calendars which feature female staff who work in its Taunton office. This year's offering features the scantily clad ladies behind black and white props, reflecting the company's main product – black and white dairy genetics.

"It's been a difficult and turbulent year for farming and many farmers feel very uncertain of their future," says managing director, Evans Drayton, whose staff each speak to dozens of farmers every day. "We've raised money for this charity before and are continuing to do so in support of their important work of helping farmers, farm workers and their families as they try to resolve their problems."

These have typically been connected with livestock disease outbreaks – particularly TB in the South West - but often also include the burden of regulation, health, depression, bereavement and family breakdown.

The year planner is being offered to Dairy Daughters customers who are being asked to make a donation to the charity. Anyone else who would like a copy should call Dairy Daughters on 01823 337339.
