World Wide Sires Expands Team in Cheshire
2010-05-05

World Wide Sires UK has increased its breeding adviser team in the north west with the appointment of David Bonsall. David will look after the Cheshire area mainly, promoting WWS’ proven bull stud as well as its leading World Mating Scheme.

David was born and raised on a dairy farm in Derbyshire and studied agriculture at Harper Adams College in Shropshire. He has a wealth of experience in the dairy industry including 11 years in Scotland with a cattle breeding company and he was also a partner in his in-laws long established 150 cow Holstein herd.

Eight years ago David moved south to a new post in the agribusiness sector and spent time with Merial as business development manager for the Igenity gene marker business.

“There’s a lot of pressure on producers to maintain a herd of fit and healthy cows and to produce top quality milk,” says David. “Our task, as breeding advisers, is to ensure we offer top class services and mating programmes and a strong portfolio of bulls to help build up these long lasting and high performance herds that meet the demands of the dairy industry and help the producer secure a strong business.”

Based near Preston, David can be contacted on 07792 653804
