The fifty sixth Roman Wall Show was held on Hadrians Wall on Saturday 12th June 2010, in picturesque surroundings on a beautiful day, local shepherds supported the show with a total of over three hundred entries, with large classes of sheep from breeds that are native to the surrounding area.

The Overall Champion was the Blackfaced Champion from T Scott, a two shear tup purchased from Hexham last year out of the Sewingshields pen and bred at Shitlington Hall.

Roman Wall Show

The Reserve Overall Champion was the Bluefaced Leicester Champion a two Shear Tup from T L Forster, Lowes Fell, this tup took the honours at the Northumberland County Show twelve days ago.

In the Mule section Martyn Archer from Carry House swept the board winning the Champion, the pairs and best group, from a total entry of eighty eight outstanding Mule Gimmer Lambs.

The Swale Champion came from J R Dalton with a two shear tup.
The best sheep of any breed exhibited by an under sixteen year old was won by Liam Mitchinson.
