Organic Approved Fly Repellent Tub
2010-06-30

At this time of the year cattle are attacked and worried by flies of all types. To help the owners of cattle raised organically the Denis Brinicombe Group have an approved organic fly repellent tub available for use on these farms.

The organic sourced materials in the tub not only include a natural fly repellent but also macro minerals and selected trace elements along with a high proportion of organic seaweed.

“Flies are a big problem around stock now and our conventional farmer customers have access to two types of fly tub in our range. So with this organic fly tub we are in a position to help all the cattle farmers in the UK to reduce the stress on their livestock caused by fly nuisance,” said Keith Greig, Managing Director.

Notes:

Research has found that fly distress can cost cattle up to 300g/day in lost weight gains.

Pre-approved, the use of these tubs does not require derogation from the organic associations.

Simply Green Fly tub is available in 14kg food grade plastic tubs that can be ordered direct from the Mineral Clinic, Crediton or through one of the Territory Sales Managers working across the UK.

Started in 1973 the Denis Brinicombe Group is still a family owned business with Head Offices and main manufacturing site in Crediton, Devon. They have a national coverage by over 50 representatives with transport depots and liquid feed manufacturing plants in Welshpool, Ripon and Carluke. Denis Brinicombe purchased FSL Bells from Tate & Lyle PLC in January 2002 and has continually invested since the acquisition.
