Farmec and Twose Celebrate Irish Silver Anniversay
Twose and Farmec have been celebrating a successful silver anniversary after 25 years of partnership in Ireland.
Farmec, which is based in Dunree Co Meath, first started selling Twose’s range of rollers, reach arms and farming implements back in 1991, and is one of Twose’s most successful export partners.
Farmec sales manager Gary Daly said: “Twose is respected across Ireland for its robust high-quality agricultural products which have made it a favourite with farmers all over the country. We’ve enjoyed great support from Twose over the past 25 years and hope to continue for many years to come.”
Now part of the giant Alamo group, Twose specialises in the production of hedge cutters and arable gang rollers as well as a comprehensive range of agricultural machinery. Twose machinery is exported to markets all around the world.
Twose Hedge Cutters are manufactured at the group’s production facility in Ludlow, Shropshire, which has a long and successful history of producing some of the world’s premier hedgecutter brands including the Twose range.
The range of Twose Hedge Cutters includes everything from compact machines suitable for tractors up to 45hp to the flagship TP625T model - a heavy duty, genuine 6.25 meter reach machine with telescopic arm, parallel arm linkage and fully independent hydraulic system with high power cast iron pumps and motors.
The larger contractor models are available with three point linkage mounting or axle bracket sub frame mounting. In all there are 15 models to chose from in the range with specifications and prices to accommodate both farmers and contractors.
Arable Hydraulic Folding Cambridge Rollers and front presses are an important part of the Twose range. Twose rollers are built to a high standard with robust fabricated steel frames, 65mm high tensile steel shafts with 65mm heavy duty double sealed bearing mounted on outside of frame and working widths from 6.4m to 12.4 meters wide.
This popular, quality range of machines, designed and built to cope with the tough conditions farmers and contractors encounter in the regular course of their work, is available through a trained and experienced, nationwide Twose dealer network which provides a comprehensive parts and service backup.
