Fliegl's Technology Show Proved Popular
Around 250 trading partners used this year's practice and field days on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th April 2016 hosted by Fliegl Agrartechnik to learn about new product innovations and adjustments.
Eighteen nations were represented at the headquarters of the world's largest manufacturer of agricultural trailers in Mühldorf am Inn, including the USA, Finland, Poland, Russia and the Baltics. They witnessed a two-day demonstration of modern agricultural technology; Fliegl presented vehicles and equipment from its manure portfolio (transportation, storage, spreading) and showed various applications from its original push-off technology including the push-off trailer ASW GreenTec with weight-optimized aluminium structure for more payload capacity.
Transfer augers, transfer belts, transfer vehicles and a transfer station proved Fliegl‘s competence in powerful agricultural logistics. In addition, the trade visitors were able to see bale transport trailers with load securing, flexible hook-lift trailers, various spreading units, construction and municipal technology in live demonstrations. On a specially created course, Fliegl illustrated the chassis characteristics of push-off trailers with TITAN bogie, GIGANT PLUS bogie, with hydraulic suspension and air suspension. As a novelty, a compact tipper was presented (type TMK 130S), ideal for gardening and landscaping, a platform trailer as well as a low bed trailer for machine transport.
In addition to the diverse product presentations, the exchange of ideas and experiences has a high priority at Fliegl’s practice and field days. Managing Director Josef Fliegl jun. appreciates the dialogue within the international sales and distribution network.
Our dealers are in very close contact with the customers of our products. They give us an extremely valuable feedback for research and development. Knowing where the shoe of farmers and business owners pinches and where there might be country-specific problems is important in order to develop solutions.”
Currently, Fliegl Agrartechnik is focusing on the implementation of new statutory guidelines, for example slurry regulations, and is dealing with dumping prices for agricultural products.
"The technical progress develops at a rapid pace. We are committed to not only keep up with it, but to give impulses and set standards, to be a driving force for innovation. Accordingly, we are continuously adapting our product range, complementing and expanding it. Agricultural technology and transport solutions with the best possible performance and efficiency – this is our main concern", says Josef Fliegl jun.
Fliegl has now received the EC type approval for its push-off trailer, the load securing system of the bale transport trailer has been certified according to Code XL and the manure spreader ADS 120 DLG has been awarded the DLG (German Agricultural Society) quality mark for its spreading quality manure.
