Have You Decided Which Way to Vote in the EU Referendum?
Many farmers are still unsure on the real implications of Brexit or Bremain, so Old Mill accountants and financial planners have organised a high profile debate to shed further light on the topic.
The debate, featuring Jacob Rees-Mogg MP, Michael Seals MBE, Sir Peter Kendall and former MP Tessa Munt, will be held at the Westex Suite, Bath & West Showground, Somerset, on Tuesday 14 June.
Jacob Rees-Mogg MP for North East Somerset is a high profile campaigner for the “Leave” Campaign, Michael Seals MBE – Chairman and English Director of NFSCo CIC will be presenting a “Leave” position for farmers.
Sir Peter Kendall, former President of the National Farmers Union is a champion for the “Remain” Campaign and Tessa Munt – former local Liberal Democrat MP for Wells in Somerset with strong farming links who believes it is best to “Remain”.
The meeting to be chaired by Mike
Butler, Chairman of the Old Mill Board.
“The referendum whether the UK remains in or leaves Europe
is of great importance to all farmers,” says Mr Butler.
“It is
a personal decision for each of us to make but it is vital that we
are all as informed as possible.”
Delegates are invited to submit their questions in advance and to register their attendance by phoning Alan Stone on 07825 620050.
