New Specialists Join Kuhn UK

Kuhn Farm Machinery has appointed three new sales specialists as part of an ambitious recruitment drive that will enable the company to take a greater market share in several key areas and to provide additional customer support via its network of dealerships.

KUHN is currently in the process of recruiting eight new members of staff to its UK structure and has appointed two non-inversion crop establishment experts and a parts and Amenity Pro specialist. Two additional sales specialists, two product specialists and a second parts and Amenity Pro specialist are still to be recruited with interviewing currently ongoing.

Non-inversion crop establishment experts

Marcus Ainley and Will Waterer have been appointed as KUHN’s new non-inversion crop establishment experts and will provide a key sales support to KUHN’s dealers and customers.

Marcus Ainley joins KUHN from Sands Agricultural Machinery Ltd where he held the role of Area Sales Manager. Prior to that he was employed by Sumo UK Ltd, initially as a product demonstrator and latterly as the company’s drill specialist.

Marcus has 30 years’ experience within the arable machinery sector, including the management of a 1,200 acre arable farm, and is a former Bishop Burton College student.

Will Waterer is an experienced agricultural machinery sales manager, specialising in crop establishment and conservation agriculture as well as professional work including dealer development and sales training. He joins KUHN from Mzuri where he was sales manager with a specific remit for the day to day management of dealer sales across the east of England and export.

Will has also worked for P Tuckwell Ltd, Ernest Doe and Sons, Rayner JCB Braintree and Blyth and Pawsey, and as such has a wealth of experience within the arable sector. Will is an ex-Writtle College student.

Parts and Amenity Pro sales specialist

Charlie Lane has joined KUHN as one of the company’s new parts and Amenity Pro specialists: as well as taking responsibility for KUHN’s AMENITY PRO machinery range, he will also assist with the promotion of KUHN’s parts and KUHN Shop range of merchandise.

Charlie is an experienced parts professional, with extensive dealership parts management experience. More recently he has held manufacturer roles and joins KUHN from McConnel Ltd where he was global parts advisor and then territory sales manager for parts. Charlie has also held parts management positions for G Bryan Ltd and Ricardo Engineering and is well versed in all aspects of the spare parts supply chain including B2B, end user and export relations.
