Loadall Lifts French Agricultural Show's Top Award

JCB’s newest telescopic handler for farmers has won one of the world’s top industry awards at a major French agricultural show.

The brand new JCB Series III Loadall is making its international debut this week at the SIMA Show in Paris where it was named ‘Machine of the Year 2019.’ The success comes after an £8 million investment to develop a JCB Loadall which is 50% quieter, more spacious, more comfortable and has better visibility.

JCB France MD Philippe Girard said:
“To win the Machine of the Year Award at SIMA 2019 for the second time in two years is one of the high points of more than 40 years of manufacturing JCB Loadall telescopic handlers. The Award honours innovation and is decided by an independent panel of judges. This is a fantastic endorsement for JCB which continues to successfully bring innovative new products to market which keep us ahead of the competition.”

The new Series III Loadall range has been named as Machine of the Year for 2019 in the handling equipment category. The competition honours the most innovative agricultural products and winners are decided by a jury of European journalists specialising in farm machinery. There are 17 categories including a public vote award.

More than 40 years ago the JCB Loadall telescopic handler introduced farmers to a revolution in mechanised materials handling. The latest Series III Loadall has been developed with the agricultural operator firmly in mind, with the all-new Command Plus cab which is quieter, wider and longer, with an improved driving position, controls that are easier to locate and use, and an instrument display that is larger and more informative. JCB’s AgriPro Loadall won Machine of the Year at SIMA in 2017 in the handling category.
