New Holland will show its tractor line-up at Saltex 2005, including perhaps a surprise or two, underlining the brand's commitment to the groundcare professionals' needs in terms of productivity and user comfort.
The TND-A / TNS-A ranges will be well represented. TNS-A models featuring the unique New Holland SuperSteer™ front axle and automatic four-wheel drive management system, which automatically disengages 4WD at a 50° steering angle and re-engages 4WD when the wheels are straightened. SuperSteer enables an all-wheel drive tractor to have a turning radius that is tighter than some two-wheel drive units, due to its 76° steering angle, giving greater manoeuvrability, mowing efficiency and easier grass-cutting around obstacles. The result is less wheel scrub, and reduced risk of turf damage.
New Holland's Saltex stand will feature the TLA range, which is ideally suited to amenity and large scale groundcare professionals needs with powers up to 100hp. Represented by the TL100A equipped with power shift and power shuttle transmission, the range offers a light, versatile and compact tractor with great manoeuvrability; add excellent visibility and the TLA becomes the first choice for local authorities and groundsmen operating larger mowers.
Being introduced to the amenity sector is New Holland's TSA Delta tractor, a 'business class' machine designed with user safety, comfort and ergonomics in mind. Its sleek, low-profile cab is ideal for work in confined or awkward spaces, such as loading and roadside hedge trimming. With no compromise on cabin space and comfort, this cab helps achieve high work-rates without operator fatigue at the end of a long working day.
Available for both the TLA and TSA tractors is the New Holland FL range of front loaders. A 'loader ready' option that can be ordered from the factory or dealer installed to ensure that the loader purchased is specifically designed to match the tractor. New Holland FL loaders are simple to fit and remove and can be supplied with a wide range of attachments.
Details will also be available on the TC compact tractor range, which is well suited to work in and around nurseries, graveyards and other municipal sites. Besides powering attachments, they can pull heavy and bulky loads in trailers and fulfil other transportation tasks. Models are available from 18.5-45hp, and the higher horse power versions can be fitted with the SuperSteer front axle and Sensitrak 4WD management system.
The TCE range at 40-55hp will be represented. Offering excellent value for money and power performance in a compact tractor with a high power to weight ratio and extensive specification choices, it is a range not to be missed.
New Holland's dedicated range of ride-on mowers will be highlighted; including the Series MC designed for high work-rate performance on sport and amenity turf and 16hp GT75 diesel mowers with their user-friendly features including hydrostatic transmission for infinite speed control and easy changes of direction.
By choosing New Holland as a business partner, groundcare professionals can ensure that their equipment provides them with the power and productivity that modern workloads demand, with back-up from a global company with keen awareness of local market needs.
