A SET of colourful posters, recipe cards and even opening hours
signs are set to help decorate 3,500 butchers' shops through England
in time for the festive season.
The poster sets, sent out by the English Beef and Lamb Executive
(EBLEX), arrived at all the shops by December 1 and are aimed at
reminding customers how a tasty piece of roast beef or lamb makes
Christmas extra special.
Head of Marketing for EBLEX, Andrew Garvey, said: " Good, wholesome,
tasty food is at the centre of the traditional Christmas festivities
and what could be more welcoming than a large roast beef or lamb
joint surrounded by all the trimmings.
"This kit has been designed to provide consumers with inspiration
and ideas to help them plan their festive menus."
