    Limousin Bulls Peak at 3,200gns at Dungannon

The Annual BLCS April Sale of Limousin Bulls organised by the NI Limousin Club was held on 13th April 2007 at Dungannon Livestock Mart with two bulls topping the day’s trade at 3,200gns.

At the same 3,200gns mark was the Intermediate Champion, Kendrom Arthur by Homebyres Oxton and out of a Broadmeadows Ainsi daughter, forward by David Kenwell of Dromore, Co Tyrone, when selling to the Loane Partnership of Letter in Fermanagh.

Mr P J Donnelly, from Ballygawley realised 2,700gns for his second prize winning Senior bull, Redergan Arnie by Mas Du Clo out of Carwin Slender, this animal going to Cloghey Dairy Farm, Newtownards while Tom and Alan Clyde of Antrim sold Millwater Apache, a Cloughhead Lord son out of a Millwater cow to Mr Tom Harrison of Portadown for 2,400gns and Henry McCracken of Ballywalter sold Seaview Apollo, a Ronick Hawk son out of a home bred Seaview cow to Mr Norman Bell from Cookstown for 2,000gns.

The Judge for the day was Mr Liam Muir from Orkney who was impressed by the quality of stock forward. His judging results were as follows:
