GA 7501 Gyrorake
|
The GA 7501 Gyrorake is a replacement for the longstanding 7301
model, offering a slightly wider working width due to larger diameter rotors. Performance
is improved by increasing the tine arms per rotor from 10 to 11 and through
modernisation of the headstock design. Each 3.25 metre rotor is fitted with 11 tine
arms, with four tines per arm.
Good stability in work and ground-following performance is achieved
through a four-wheel pivoting undercarriage under each rotor as well as a
3D suspension system. The two large rear wheels that are guided from the headstock
for effective cornering are increased in size and have reinforced wheel columns
compared with the earlier model. The rear wheels are spaced to allow a 2.5m track
width for a centrally formed swath. Hydraulic folding reduces the GA 7501 to
a transport position of 2.5 metres.
The GA 7501 has a basic price of £15,171.
