The University of Nottingham and Provimi Limited
are organising the UK’s first international calf and heifer
rearing conference – a two-day event taking place on March
23-24.
“
The programme includes some of the World’s leading researchers,
vets and scientists in calf and heifer rearing,” says Nottingham’s
Dr Phil Garnsworthy. “As a result, we will hear and discuss
some of the latest and most recent work covering the young animal’s
growth, nutrition, health and welfare, and especially the factors
affecting lifetime performance.”
