The new German Holstein February proofs are out and again the
Osnabrueck top bulls are creating with their "all time high" a
lot of excitement!
With his tremendous production and conformation figures the Osnabrueck
Lukas son LANCELOT improves to an exciting new total index of RZG
147 (+ 4) and holds his position as highest living German Holstein
sire. His breeding values - based on 150 daughters in 131 herds
for production and 115 daughters in 103 herds for conformation
- increase to RZM 140 with + 77 kg and + 0,13 % protein. At the
same time the LANCELOT daughters convince breeding experts all
over the world at several progeny shows as well as at innumerable
inspection tours. Especially the development in all body traits,
type, feet and udder quality from 1st to 2nd and now to 3rd lactation
could impress again 25 international inspectors in January 2005.
Therefore it is not surprising at all, that he confirms his excellent
values for conformation (RZE 127). His positive trend in longevity
and udder health will increase his popularity further on. The evaluation
for calving ease is uncahnged. Now in February 2005 Germany introduces
officially milking speed and LANCELOT shows a highly positive rating
of 112. With his tremendous high conception rates for insemination
and embryo transfer he belongs to Germany´s top bulls for
sire fertility. Due to his pedigree and breeding values he fits
to nearly all, at this time popular bloodlines, especially on Aaron,
Champion, Convincer, Formation, Jocko Besne, Lantz, Marshal, Mtoto,
Ramos, Storm or Throne. LANCELOT (aAa 312546) improves in nearly
all other countries worldwide like the USA with TPI 1802 (+ 66).
With daughters built to last RAMOS is the absolutely specialist
for trouble free cows. With a reliability of 95 % his total index
increases once more to actually RZG 140 (+ 1)! His complete breeding
package und his stayability are the main reasons that RAMOS was
one of the most heavily nationally used sire in Germany last year.
Together with LANCELOT and DORADO he belongs to the top OHG conformation
sires. With RZS 134 he is the breed-leader for udder health in
Germany. Additionally he can be used especially as calving ease
sire. RAMOS has favourable ratings also for all maternal calving
ease and fertility traits. With his tremendous values for udder
health, type (especially F&L and udder), production, milkability,
fertility and calving ease, the tremendous herd life (RZN 133)
of the RAMOS daughters is not surprising at all. With his very
unique combination of + 4,00 PL and + 2,51 SCS on the US scale
RAMOS is one of the very best bulls worldwide with TPI 1735 (+
46). With 619 total points (RZM 120 + RZE 127 + RZS 134 + RZN 133
+ RZZ 110) he gets incredible 124 points in average that means
RAMOS (aAa156324) is today the most complete sire in the world
and the ideal choice for for every commercial milk producer.
DORADO improves to the total index RZG 131 (+ 2) with now more
than 3000 milk producing daughters (RZM 122) and nearly 2000 classified
daughters (RZE 126). Therefore DORADO (aAa 516234) is the highest
2nd crop sire in Germany with more than 1000 daughters with production & type
figures and also the highest Dombinator son worldwide. At the 30th
International Osnabrueck Black & White Days in January 2005
DORADO won with his daughter group the "International Progeny
Group Competition" and was also sire of the best individual
cow in this competition. He transmits positive values for somatic
cell score and longevity as well.
CHIANTI (aAa 654213) is the highest and most complete Convincer
son in Germany with RZG 132 (+ 1). CHIANTI convinces with high
values for production and type. Also for all calving, milkability
and fertility traits he has positive values. Especially his money
for value relation is very attractive due to his CV status.
