Anthony Skelton is
top Institute of Auctioneers and Appraisers for Scotland Student
Anthony Skelton from Carlisle based Auctioneers, Harrison & Hetherington
Limited has been presented with the top student of the year award
at the recent conference of the Institute of Auctioneers and Appraisers
in Scotland which was held at Nairn.

Mr Robin Anderson, President of the Institute, presented 24 year old Anthony with the award who completed a three year examination programme which qualifies him to be a Fellow Member of the Scottish Institute.
Anthony has been employed by Harrison & Hetherington for some 8 years and has developed into an enthusiastic auctioneer selling regularly at their Carlisle centre in both the store cattle and sheep rings, he also carries out auctioneering duties at their Broughton centre.
Outside the rostrum Anthony enjoys playing rugby for Cockermouth Rugby club. He also helps on the family farm at Low House Farm with his father, mother and sister.
