All contractors who have attended an Alkalage training
              session organised by
Volac International, together with those with a minimum two years
experience making processed urea treated wholecrop, have been highlighted
              on
the company's web site. "While farmers are responsible for growing a crop of quality
              cereals
destined for processed urea treated wholecrop, it's over to contractors
              to
manage the crop's harvesting operations, including cutting, primary
processing, preservation and clamping," explains Volac International's
              Doug
McLeish. "Supplying a list of trained and experienced contractors
              will help
farmers to ensure their crop realises its full potential value
              and
subsequently contributes to reduced feed costs, improved herd performance
and health." For those contractors who have been unable to attend the training
              courses,
Volac International's staff will be available throughout the harvesting
season to help bring them up to speed with the Alkalage system. Further
information is available from Volac International on Freephone
                0800 919808. |
