Now Men Can Get PMT Every Month THE spotlight has been turned on the British pig industry in a new monthly publication from the Meat and Livestock Commission's economics department. Pig Market Trends contains a wealth of information including analysis of market trends - prices, production, consumption and trade. It also looks at the European market, offers technical information such as stock valuations, feed prices and pig rations. In the June issue there is a special feature on the factors influencing pig gross margins over the last ten years. Senior Market Analyst Sue Fisher said: "As the British pig industry operates in an increasingly global market, Pig Market Trends is designed to keep all sectors fully up to date on developments both at home and abroad. "Each month it will include a contribution from an industry expert on a technical aspect of production and there will also be a quarterly look at MLC supply forecasts."
