New Holland dealer Pecks has strengthened its support for the
brand and its customers with the opening of new purpose-built premises
at Spalding. The new branch replaces an existing depot at Surfleet
and complements the dealership’s other New Holland depots
at Ramsey St Mary’s, Cambridgeshire and Mareham Le Fen, Lincolnshire. Dick Spencer, UK marketing manager for New Holland, said he was
very pleased with Pecks’ confident approach adding that “in
order for our dealers to offer premium levels of sales, parts and
after sales support to customers, they really need to continue
to invest in their business, which is exactly what Pecks are doing.” Pecks prides itself in offering high levels of service support
and has invested heavily in its staff through training and skills
development in conjunction with its suppliers. The building of
the new premises was a natural extension to that investment, and
offered the opportunity to specify a state-of-the-art servicing
area that provided a greater capacity and technical resource. Pecks’ focus
on after sales and in-season support ensures that customers receive
the highest levels of service with qualified technicians available
for extended hours during the busiest time of the year. “As New Holland develops specialist products for farmers
and contractors in the cash crop, mixed and livestock segments,
as well as orchard and groundcare sectors to cater for the broad
UK customer base, it needs dealers that it can work with in close
alliance. When customers are looking to invest in modern machinery,
they demand the complete package, to include premium levels of
service support from the supplying dealer,” states Dick. “Thanks to dealers like Pecks, we can supply high capacity
CR combines into large farming operations, such as Velcourt Farms,
and have the confidence that customers will receive the right support
when they need it, ultimately leading to continued customer satisfaction.” New Holland leads the biodiesel revolution
