Belgian Blue Team Take Reserve Champion in the United Auctions
Interbreed Competition
There was tremendous excitement on the showfield, when the Belgian
Blue team, consisting of one bull, one cow aged 3 years and over
and two females under 3 years of age, were pulled out as reserve
interbreed team. This very well balanced group was a true credit
to the breed and deserved the success they had. The team was made
up of Ridge Dean Wicker, exhibited by Dermot Small, a March ’04
female, Reinbeck Opticia, an April ’97 cow, exhibited by
Zara Chestnutt, Annanwater Valerie, a December ’03 heifer,
exhibited by D & K Watret and, finally, the show reserve champion,
Ballygrange Vinney, exhibited by RA & NJ Wheelright.
