| 18/12/06 MEAT and milk quality, price and delivery will be the three main
            subjects coming under the spotlight at the British Cattle Breeders' Club (BC2)
            annual conference next month.
           An international set of speakers will grace the dais at the conference
            which will be held at Hawkestone Park Hotel near Shrewsbury on January
            22 to 24 and in all a total of 24 papers from policy makers, scientists
            and farmers will be delivered. Among those to address the conference will be: 
              Kim Matthews, MLC Meat Scientist on beef quality
                measures,Paul Allen from Dublin on visual image analysis
                (VIA),Eric Venot from France on the interbeef project
                andMarjorie Faust from the USA on breeding for the
                dairy herd. On the Monday afternoon the British Livestock Genetics group will
              hold a seminar on exports and a discussion on world trade issues
              will also take place during the conference led by MLC's International
              Manager Peter Hardwick. Club Chairman Duncan Pullar, said: "To be successful in the
