 The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart P.L.C. had forward
                71 prime cattle, 1 young beef bull, 23 otm cattle, 6593 hoggs
                and 4266 cast ewes & rams at their weekly sale at Longtown
              on Thursday 15th March, 2007. A plainer show of clean cattle saw trade sharper. Top price
                of 132.5p for a Limousin heifer from Messrs Taylor, Englishtown,
                others to 129.5p, 127.5p Corby Castle, 126.5p Englishtown & Hallburn.
                Limousin bullocks topped at 129.5p (3 times) from Messrs Nicholson,
                The Gill & Messrs Lockhart, Faulding Cleugh, others to 125.6p
                Hallburn & Faulding Cleugh. Young bulls sold to 114.5p for
              Belgian Blue from Middlebierigg. The cast cows were sharper on the week. Top price was 99.5p
                (£850.73) for an otm Friesian steer from Johnstone Bank.

                Friesians 74.5p (£521.25) Laws Hall, Simmentals 74.5p Riggshield. The prime hoggs peaked at £63.50 for Texels from Kirkbarrow
