 An SAC ‘virtual’ seminar and discussion on Tuesday
              9 October will bring together dairy farmers throughout Scotland
              - using video links to connect groups at Dumfries, Stranraer, Lanark,
            Edinburgh, Campbeltown, Aberdeen, Auchincruive and Orkney. Chaired by Professor Geoff Simm, Head of SAC Sustainable Livestock
              Systems, the seminar will address the issue “What you need
            to consider if you want to be in business in five years’ time.”  Speakers include; SAC’s Dr Dave Roberts who will outline
              SAC’s current research on dairy systems; Jan Vos, General
              Manager, Koepon Europe (previously manager of Koepon, Newton Stewart)
              who will focus on his own farm system in the Netherlands; and Sandy
              Ramsay of SAC who will look at financial issues. The seminar begins at 11.30am (tea and coffee will be available
              from 11.00am) and concludes at 12.30pm after which a light lunch
              will be available and individual discussions will take place at
              each of the sites.
