Leading genetics company Semex UK has announced the appointment
of Gordon Miller to the position of managing director.

Gordon has a strong background in the dairy sector, having worked
previously for Semex UK as General Manager from 1995 – 2000.
He returns to Semex from the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he
headed up a corporate team responsible for delivering tailored
financial solutions to large corporations. He also holds an MBA
from Strathclyde University.
Mr Miller commented, “I am delighted to return to Semex
to head up our UK operations. The company has undergone many
changes in the past number of years, and I believe we are in
a strong position going forward to further expand and grow our
business in the UK. Our business is about meeting the needs of
today’s progressive dairy farmers, and Semex is committed
to providing a wide range of high quality sires that will suit
all types of production systems. One recent exciting development
for Semex has been the introduction of our AI-24 breeding management
package - this is really delivering results for farmers and the
interest in the system is growing. I am passionate about this
business and look forward to consolidating our presence in the
marketplace and maximising opportunities for growth into new
markets.”
