Kuhn Farm Machinery continues to expand its range of landscape
maintenance machinery with the addition of new options within its
Pro-Longer and Agri-Longer long reach hedgecutter range as well
as extension of its Spring-Longer verge mower series.
Previously available with cable controls only, the farmer-targeted
Agri-Longer is now being offered with the alternative of electric
controls in both the 4.3 and 4.8 metre horizontal reach models.
The larger Pro-Longer, which is positioned more as a contractor
machine and has 5.29 and 5.70 metre horizontal reach options, is
now available with cable controls as an alternative to electric
controls. Both Pro-Longer models offered with a semi-advanced crank
arm option for easier operation, as well as the standard straight
arm. Kuhn has also added two new front mounted models to its heavy-duty
Spring-Longer verge mower range. The 1.6 and 2.0 metre working
width models have horizontal reach capability of 3.5 and 3.9 metres
respectively and a mower unit orientation range of +90° to
-70°. The robust shredding unit on both models comprises spoon flails
that are attached by 14mm shackles to a 460mm rotor. The machine
is protected by hydraulic break-back facilities for both forward
and reverse movement, with automatic resetting. Prices for electric control Agri-Longer and cable control Pro-Longer
are available on request. The 1.6 metre version of the front mounted
Spring-Longer has a retail price of £9,815. Case IH Doubles Combine Harvester Sales
