Mr Allright’s promotion follows 21 years experience within AMC during which time he has gained a wealth of experience across all aspects of the business. His finance and marketing credentials are complemented with knowledge of the agricultural sector, forged during his formative years farming in Kent and whilst attaining his agriculture qualifications from Plymouth University at Seale Hayne.
Mr Allright’s appointment ensures continued strong and focused leadership for AMC at a time of growth and opportunity within the agricultural sector.
“AMC has grown its business substantially in the last decade and now commands a 30% share of the medium to long-term lending market in UK agriculture,” says Mr Allright. “This success comes from being an integral part of the future planning of progressive farm businesses and our aim is to strengthen this position further through competitive pricing and exceptional service quality. UK agriculture is well-placed as an industry to capitalise on future opportunities and the AMC is increasingly the finance provider of choice for those investing in their farms and rural businesses.”
Jonathan Allright succeeds Paul Spencer who retains overall responsibility for the Lloyds Banking Group Agriculture businesses within his remit as Regional Director in LBG Commercial Banking.
