Taking place on Wednesday 17th November, the event will include three interactive sessions to update producers on the work done by EBLEX. The sessions will cover the latest news on the export markets, using innovative meat cuts to maximise carcase value, and an overview of EBLEX's marketing activity. The meeting will also take a look at challenges faced by the sector such as climate change, water usage and feed efficiency.

EBLEX senior regional manager - northern region, Clive Brown, said: "The open meeting is a good opportunity for beef and sheep farmers to meet the EBLEX team and learn more about the work we're doing to help improve their returns, both on the domestic market and in terms of exports.

"We look forward to meeting as many producers as possible and hearing their views."

The event will begin at 6pm when hot beef rolls, tea and coffee will be served, and will finish at approximately 9pm. To book a free place call Selma Todd on 0870 608 6610 or email selma.todd@eblex.org.uk For more information visit www.eblex.org.uk
