Adrian now looks after sales and distribution activities for Bauer linear and pivot crop irrigation systems, the Rainstar and new ProRain reel irrigators, and the extensive Bauer range of farm animal waste pumping, separating and field application equipment.
He also has main responsibility for Bauer Group products from Eckart (biogas feeders), BSA (steel slurry tankers and positive displacement pumps) and FAN Separator, the division that supplies slurry screw separators and the FAN BRU bedding processor, as well as specialist feed-in and feed-out processing systems for biogas plants.
“Bauer has a world-wide reputation for excellence in its specialist fields,” says Adrian. “I’m delighted to join a business that provides efficient equipment solutions and puts quality at the forefront of its engineering.”
One of the first objectives of his new role is to expand the dealer network for Bauer irrigation and slurry equipment.
“We already have some first-class dealers who really understand the nature of the specialist equipment they supply – whether for irrigating high-value vegetable and salad crops or handling farm waste materials,” he says. “But there are pockets where we are not represented locally and my first priority is to fill those gaps.”
Mr Tindall’s farm industry background stems from his father’s contracting business, which operated in the Darlington area, and family dairy farming operations near Whitby, North Yorkshire. He has worked as a territory manager for a leading parts and sundries supplier in north-east England and also in machinery ring management.
Married with two daughters, he lives at Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.
“Bauer was just a name to me until I was given the opportunity to join the company,” he says. “What I’ve discovered is that the name represents a very professional and forward-thinking company that’s a world leader in its specialist sectors.”
