Over 500 calves entered and a very good trade on the best beef calves with the best prices crossing £400 on a regular basis. Black and White bull calves averaged £45 with the rearing calves over £100 regularly.
Dairy Cattle
The dairy trade was back slightly but so was the quality of entry. £2220 was top price of the day for a second calver from the commercial section.
