| 05/09/06 BEEFY and Lamby were back on TV on Monday (September 4) as they
            spearheaded a new four-week advertising campaign for Quality Standard
            beef and lamb.
 
                
                Beefy and Lamby                The latest English Beef and Lamb Executive (EBLEX) campaign also
            features a series of four brand new press advertisements all aimed
            at increasing awareness and understanding of the beef and lamb Quality
            Standard Marks.

 As part of the campaign, which will run throughout September, EBLEX
            will be supplying promotional kits to both supermarkets and independent
            butchers, which are members of the Quality Standard Scheme.
 
 The supermarket kits include recipes for lamb dishes and the butcher
            kits include posters and recipes with the theme “Something
            Special This Autumn”.
 
 Jane Ritchie-Smith, EBLEX Brand Manager, said: “Research has
            shown us the vast majority of consumers love the Beefy and Lamby
            characters and sales reflect this when the TV and press ads are shown.
