The Tenant Farmers Association, in affiliation with Towergate
Lloyd & Whyte Farm Insurance, has been running a prize draw
for members who visited stands at shows and technical events throughout
the year. Two winners have been drawn and will be presented with
their prizes over the coming weeks.
A Karcher industrial hot water pressure washer (HDS 601) has been
won by Mr & Mrs B J Landick of Eggworthy Farm, Sampford Spiney,
Yelverton, Devon. They have been members of the Tenant Farmers
Association since 1986 and farm with sheep and cows.
Two places at the 2007 Oxford Farming Conference have been won
by Mr & Mrs Teague of Manor House Farm, Baucott, Craven Arms,
Shropshire. They have been members since 1984.
TFA Chief Executive, George Dunn commented, "The Tenant Farmers
Association has had a long standing association with Towergate
Lloyd & Whyte which provides farm insurances specially designed
for tenant farmers across the UK. It is one of our strongest affiliations
which we see as a continuing benefit for members. Prices quoted
have to be competitive but personal service for members is also
important to us. I am delighted that Mr & Mrs Landick will
receive the Karcher pressure washer and I look forward to meeting
Mr & Mrs Teague at the 2007 Oxford Farming Conference which
I hope they will find enlightening and enjoyable."
