All classes of clean cattle were dearer on the week to average 139.4p. Top price of 158.5p paid by C.M. Kirkpatrick for a Limousin heifer from J. & N. The 4,003 hoggs were forward to a larger ringside of buyers who were keen for well fleshed lambs which were in short supply.

Goldie, Townfoot and from A Morgan, Noss Farm.
